Elemis is a renowned name in Spas, making excellent skincare

There are some excellent spa brand names that are rolling out across the world, so if you enjoy a special treatment at a salon near you, when you go on holiday you can experience the same treatment, given by a therapist who has carried out similar training.

One of the best names to look out for is ELEMIS.  They now have franchised salons all over the world, in top level Skin Nourishing Bath Milk 400mlmedical spa centres. on cruise ships, at airports and in many department stores.

Their flagship centre is one of my favourite places to leave the world behind.  Tucked away behind Bond Street, in Lancaster Court – you go down a quaint little street in the middle of Mayfair, and there is a tiny jewel box with just a few rooms, but some superb therapists.  Step inside the door, and you immediately relax.

Their therapists are superbly trained, and having a treatment there gives your immune system, your nervous system, and every muscle a treat – and you come out glowing.  Their massages are  sensational, and combine one with a prescribed booster anti-ageing facial and you come out with inner batteries re-charged.

Special treatments include

• Pro-Collagen Quartz Lift Facial                                                                                                                                                                                  • Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Facial
• Visible Brilliance Facial
• Skin IQ+ Men’s Facial

They also make skincare. packaged in very simple, male-friendly boxes!

Very quietly they have produced a fantastic range of products, each one of which when I have tried it has more than produced what it says on the box.  Two or three times a year they come out with further helpful creams – and trying them out is a highlight.  Recently, I really put them to the test – which wasn’t fair – but they have come out with flying colours.  The medics have been giving me Bisphosphonates to counter osteoporis (a side effect from Aromasin).  They do this by encouraging apoptosis (cell suicide).  Uggh!  As you can imagine, the effects of the tablets on my skin have been dire.

However, I have been trying out Elemis’s Exotic Cream Moisturising Mask – which has smoothed over side Copy of Pro-Collagen Marine Creameffects from the suicide pact, aided by a day and night Pro-collagen Marine Cream.  The creams are described as “anti-aging”, which means that wrinkles and other nasties are kept at bay; and with these creams they are kept very successfully at bay.

Every Winter they bring out lovely gift boxes, which are a collection of different products much cheaper than buying them individually.  These go to favourite friends  for Christmas, and they all love them.
